Measurement individual radiation dose
Dosimeters have undergone many advances since their earliest form in the 30s. Starting as a simple device that only measured a single dose using an electrical charge, to film badges using photographic film, to crystal-based TLDs, dosimeters have advanced to the most current version: aluminum oxide-based OSL dosimeters.
Dosimeters have become one of the most necessary tools worn by professionals working with radiation, as they measure the accumulated dose of ionized radiation a worker receives over time to help keep their dose as low as reasonably achievable.
According to Article 15 of Circular No. 19/2012/TT-BKHCN, organizations and individuals conducting radiation work must provide personal dosimeters for all employees who work in the control and monitoring areas. Persinonal dosimeters need to read-out 3 months.
On October 31, 2022, INIRAT was granted registration certificate for radiation safety training service No. 45/2022/ĐK/ATBXHN by the VARANS, allowing measurement individual irradiation doses of OSL dosimeter.
With Micro-star dosimetry system and a team of qualified staff and practice certificates issued by VARANS, INIRAT will provides the best quality of service to customers.
Besides, the facility will be reminded by INIRAT to read the dosimeter periodically and give free advice on radiation safety issues.
